As a leaseholder you may wish to sublet your property to a sub-tenant. To do this you must first contact ACME Developments (UK) Ltd in writing, either by letter or email; whichever is most convenient for you. Once this is received a member of our team will be appointed to your case. Please be aware that your request may be unsuccessful if you have outstanding debts on your account.
In order to process your request we will need the following information from you:
- An alternative address to send all future correspondence to.
- A copy of the Tenancy Agreement and details confirming whether the property is being let to Asylum Seekers, those receiving benefits from the DWP or Students.
- Emergency contact details for yourself.
- A registration fee and administrative costs.
Once all requirements are received ACME Developments (UK) Ltd will issue our clients formal document, evidencing the registration of the underlet. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the terms stated within your lease are maintained by the sub-tenant, any breach of these terms could result in this document being revoked. It is your responsibility to notify ACME Developments (UK) Ltd of any change in circumstance regarding the subletting arrangement. Please note any subsequent lettings, including renewed agreed tenancies, are subject to a new request for registration.
